Guidelines for meeting with Medicare agents in Vancouver WA
There are specific rules governing signing up for Medicare coverage, and the agents who help you with it. It’s important for you to know what those rules are, and what the agent can do for you. 
An agent is allowed to give you plan materials and tell you how to get more information if you need it. They can tell you about the plan options you have agreed to discuss, but cannot tell you about other plan options you haven’t agreed to discuss. If you specifically want to discuss other plan options, you have to complete a separate appointment form.
Your agent can give you an enrollment form, and collect your completed form, but they cannot steer you toward a particular plan or pressure you to join a particular plan. And they may not ask you to sign the enrollment form before you are ready.
At the end of the meeting, they can leave their business cards for you to give out to friends and family, but they may not ask for names and numbers in order to sell to your friends and family.
