This weekend you probably couldn’t help notice the smoke clouding the atmosphere. We are grateful that the unhealthy air conditions passed quickly, and we just wanted to offer a few helpful updates.

This is a site where you can check on air quality all over the U.S. at any given time. Be aware of what we are breathing and how to protect our lungs! http://www.deq.state.or.us/aqi/index.aspx

Some air quality control sites are predicting the smoke to increase again today or tomorrow due to wind changes, so its important to be aware. Repository Masks are advised when the air becomes that thick. They should be type N95 or N100 to be most effective. Here a few other links for more information:

The fires are being taken care of and have not reached dangerous proximity to us. Enjoy the last little bit of summer in a safe and conscious way!
